We are expanding our team in Salt Lake City, Utah, and seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our logistics department! This position is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse, involving the safe and precise movement of materials. As a Forklift Operator, you will operate industrial trucks to transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the facility. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, relocating inventory, and staging orders for shipping. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, proven forklift operating skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A valid forklift certification is required. You will perform daily inspections of your assigned forklift, ensure proper functioning, and report any issues immediately. Accuracy in moving and tracking inventory is critical. Teamwork and effective communication with warehouse associates and supervisors are essential. We maintain a strict adherence to safety regulations, requiring all employees to wear appropriate PPE , including safety vests and sturdy footwear. While operating the forklift, duties may require occasional Lifting of smaller items or assisting with pallet preparation. This role is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods.
