The Role We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to lead the development, configuration, and implementation of Salesforce solutions for our clients. This position will serve as a vital technical expert, offering hands-on leadership across Salesforce products such as Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. Work You'll Do Guide the development of Salesforce solutions using Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud within healthcare payer contexts. Create and configure custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and APIs. Translate both business and technical requirements into effective and scalable Salesforce solutions. Collaborate with business analysts and development teams to ensure alignment with project objectives. Provide technical leadership to development teams, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting, and enforcing best practices. Participate in technical design sessions to contribute to solution architecture discussions, and create solution design documents, data models, and integration architecture visuals. Support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems like claims platforms and EHRs. Ensure adherence to Salesforce development standards, governance practices, and deployment processes. Assist in performing technical discovery and current-state system assessments. Support complete Salesforce implementations, including build, testing, deployment, and optimization phases. Work closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to troubleshoot technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions. Contribute to technical documentation and release planning strategies. Assist in business development with technical insights, estimates, and solution feasibility assessments. Help to grow AArete's Salesforce practice through knowledge sharing and mentorship. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms, including lead or senior developer roles. Strong expertise in implementing solutions across multiple clouds (Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud). Proficient in the following technologies:
Apex Lightning Web Components Flows and automation tools APIs (REST and SOAP) OmniStudio
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, sharing rules, and security best practices. Experience with integration implementation including middleware, ETL, and event-based solutions (Mulesoft preferred). Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., DevOps Center, Git, Copado, Gearset). Demonstrated ability to deliver enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions, especially in healthcare or payer environments. Understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery frameworks. Proven problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex technical issues and enhance platform performance. Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Willingness to engage directly with clients, including potential travel. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Preferred Requirements Salesforce Platform Developer II or advanced certifications. Salesforce Certified Health Cloud Consultant. Experience integrating Salesforce with claims systems, EHRs, or other healthcare platforms. Proven track record supporting large-scale Salesforce implementations or platform transformations. The estimated base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $150,000, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
