Position Overview:
Banner Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our highly trained Orthopedic Surgery team specializing in Total Hip and Knee Replacement procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic Physician Assistant to work collaboratively with our accomplished surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers, delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population with Total Joint orthopedic surgical needs.
Provide comprehensive care across multiple settings: clinic consultations, surgical first assist in the OR, and hospital rounding. The ideal candidate will be confident in their OR skills and clinical procedures, be driven and independent with the ability to be a self-starter and must be able to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment. Position Details:
Full-Time: 40 hours per week
Primary Setting: Clinic-based with surgical first assist in the OR and hospital rounding
Call : Shared practice call; no hospital call
Requirements:
Board Certification as a Physician Assistant
Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in Arizona
Current prescribing privileges, including DEA license for controlled substances
Current BLS & ACLS certification
Total Hip/Knee Replacement experience preferred
Minimum 2 years of orthopedic experience preferred
Clinic and OR experience strongly desired
