The John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans’ Hospital, in Arkansas’s capital city, is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist . Interested candidates with specific interests such as Hepatology, or ERCP, or IBD are encouraged to apply. Candidates must possess an MD/DO from an accredited institution, have completed residency and fellowship training leading to board eligibility/certification, and possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State. This position is also open to J1 Waiver or H1B visa holders.
Highlights of this opportunity :
  • Potential starting base salary range: $355-$385K
  • Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
  • Rotating call schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
  • This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), if approved
  • Responsibilities include Gastroenterology clinic, inpatient consult service, GI Lab, ¼ call coverage, and teaching and mentoring IM residents and GI Fellows.
  • No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
