About the Role

Our buffet restaurants are the heart of the resort, and you’ll play a pivotal role in leading and developing a talented team. Collaborating closely with the Junior Kitchen Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, exceptional standards, and full compliance with food safety policies.

As a leader, you’ll maintain a clean and organized workstation, setting the bar high for the Commis Chefs you’ll support, train, and mentor. Your guidance will help them grow while keeping the kitchen running smoothly and safely.

This is a full-time, permanent role, offering 35 hours per week across 5 days, including weekends, with pay received fortnightly. Breakfast shifts run from 4am to 12pm, and dinner shifts from 11am to 7:30pm. Flexibility is key to meet the needs of our bustling environment.

For those over 18 relocating to the area, live-in accommodation may be available (subject to DBS).

We’re on the lookout for chefs with proven experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen. This role is not suitable for beginners or those without professional kitchen experience.

You’ll be hardworking, reliable, and determined, with a genuine commitment to high standards and a desire for continuous improvement. You understand how great food and teamwork enhance the guest experience, and you bring the energy and enthusiasm to help your team deliver it.

Holding a Level 3 Food Safety qualification, you’ll confidently lead others in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also manage margins, control costs, and maintain excellent hygiene, health, and safety practices.

Our chefs are a vital part of what keeps guests returning to Butlin’s, so we’re seeking someone who is not only skilled but also fun, team-spirited, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for every guest, every time.

As a key member of our team, you’ll help keep our resort clean, tidy, and pristine, providing that extra sparkle to our guests’ holidays. If you’re ready to go the extra mile for our team and guests, we’d love to welcome you aboard!

We are looking for candidates who:

• Can clean our main venues and toilets, using electrical and mechanical cleaning equipment (full training provided)
• Handle chemicals safely for cleaning venues (full training provided)
• Perform external road cleaning, including emptying general waste and recycling bins
• Move furniture to accommodate different activities within venues
• Clean and disinfect toilets and changing rooms

Normal Working Hours:
Evening shift: 5pm - 2am. Please note that due to lone working and the hours required for the role, applicants must be over 18 to apply. Start and finish times may vary depending on the break type.
