As we expand our teams, we are on the lookout for an Engineering Project Manager to join our dynamic family.

- Lead Projects: Take projects from strategic concept through design, build, commissioning, and operational handover — delivering on time, on budget, and to world-class standards.
- Own Automation: Drive our automation agenda by identifying opportunities for efficiency, system optimization, robotics, and process control improvements.
- Hands-On Management: Collaborate closely with our partner contractors, ensuring high standards and safety on-site and in our bakeries.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate strong teamwork across Technical, Health & Safety, Operations, and other internal teams to support our engineering growth agenda.
- Project Oversight: Manage the design, installation, construction, and commissioning of new production environments and automated equipment.
- Risk Management: Drive detailed project plans, risk management, procurement, and contractor governance.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to food manufacturing standards, legislative requirements, and health & safety regulations.
- Purchasing Leadership: Manage CAPEX and automation equipment purchasing, leading reviews and recommendations.
- External Partnerships: Lead external engineering partners, ensuring excellence in commercial, technical, and health & safety aspects.
- Supplier Management: Drive supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and lifecycle support agreements.
- Throughput Optimization: Review and enhance existing manufacturing lines for improved performance.

- Experience: Proven track record in managing large capital projects in a food manufacturing environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of food manufacturing equipment & automation, ideally in bakery settings.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to drive projects from strategy through to optimization, with a focus on timelines and cost control.
- Hands-On Mindset: A disciplined, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong vendor management capabilities.
- Communication Skills: Confident communicator able to engage effectively at all levels.
- Educational Background: Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
