Responsibilities: As Data Catalog DevOps Technical Lead. Oversee the design, deployment, and ongoing operations of data catalog platforms within a pre-existing data ops stack. Bridge data engineering and DevOps, ensuring scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure to support data discovery, governance, and metadata management. Collaborate with data architects, platform engineers, and governance teams. Leverage expertise in tools and skillsets like Alation, AWS S3, Glue, Athena, and IaC.
Basic Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in Information Technology 5+ years of experience with Linux operating system 4+ years of experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, Glue, Athena, IAM, and networking 3+ year of experience with coding in Python Experience administering and maintaining applications which reside on an EC2 instance, such as Alation Data Catalog and working in Agile Scrum environments Knowledge of
Terraform and CloudFormation, or IAC tools Ability to work independently and in teams Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Security+ Certification
