We seek a motivated Senior Software Section Leader to join the Patriot Software Team within the Air and Missile Defense Software Department. In this role, you will oversee software personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality program outcomes. We are looking for a disciplined individual with a robust technical background, capable of thriving in a dynamic agile environment and effectively collaborating with a team. Key Responsibilities: Assign suitable work tasks and foster opportunities for career growth. Provide technical guidance and oversight to employees to support their daily assignments. Manage performance development and annual appraisals. Plan for salary and staffing needs. Ensure compliance with company policies and effective communication of critical information. Support major programs within the Patriot domain. This role requires exclusive onsite presence. Required Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. A minimum of 2 years in functional management leading a medium to large team. Experience in managing projects and leading initiatives. Ability to obtain and maintain an interim secret U.S. security clearance prior to the start date. Preferred Qualifications: Active Secret security clearance. Experience in functional management including performance reviews and mentoring. Cost and schedule management experience. Strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills. Customer-focused with collaborative capabilities. Demonstrated leadership ability to effectively engage with senior levels of leadership, including customers and partners. Proven experience in software development using languages such as C and Ada. Experience with embedded systems, real-time systems, or large-scale applications.
