We are looking for a talented technician to join our growing team, specializing in the hardware repair and installation of laptops and desktops. If you possess a solid background in computer hardware, we want to hear from you! As part of our team, you'll have access to complimentary certification training for Dell and Lenovo products, helping you enhance your skills and credentials in the field. Job Overview This position is a 1099 Contract role. You can expect an engaging call volume of 2 to 5 calls per day, with compensation starting at $35 per completed ticket. Your primary duties will involve performing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services. Pay periods occur every Friday, commencing after your first week of completed tickets. A reliable form of transportation is crucial for attending service calls. Access to a computer and the internet is necessary to log into your technician portal. Workdays are Monday through Friday, and you will need to log into your tech portal by 9 AM each day to accept, update, and plan your service calls. Effective communication with customers is essential to confirm service windows for onsite visits. Parts will be supplied by the manufacturers and typically held at FedEx for daily pickup. You will also receive shipping labels and materials for returning any removed parts.
