Description Join our dynamic team as a Lead Cybersecurity Solutions Architect where you will leverage your extensive expertise in cybersecurity to design and implement robust enterprise architectures tailored for mission-critical systems. This role emphasizes technical leadership in SecDevOps, utilizing infrastructure and policy as code, as well as open-source and commercial tools to build scalable and secure solutions aligned with Zero Trust principles (NIST 800-207, DoD ZT RA). The ideal candidate will possess strong software engineering skills, preferably in Python, and demonstrate mastery in continuous integration and delivery within Agile environments. You will also excel in integrating security across a spectrum of infrastructures, applications, and nonhuman identities. Primary Responsibilities Serve as a thought leader in Software Development and Cyber Security. Employ open-source and commercial tools to manage infrastructure through code and policy, while designing reusable components for highly available, secure architectural frameworks, including containerized applications. Utilize your Engineering and SecDevOps knowledge to ensure all components, software, configurations, and interfaces are cohesively maintained under strict configuration control. Collaborate within an Agile team, participate in daily scrums, and ensure consistent communication to meet project objectives. Troubleshoot complex installation, infrastructure, and system issues effectively. Identify, report, monitor, and proactively mitigate technical risks. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant technical experience in software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, or related fields (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree). Experience with Agile software development teams and implementing continuous integration and delivery processes. Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to create structure from unstructured data. In-depth experience with secure architectures, particularly Zero Trust frameworks. Familiarity with SecDevOps, DevOps, and nonhuman identity systems. Proficient software development skills (Python preferred) and knowledge of machine learning tools and platforms. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments while adhering to deadlines. Strong enthusiasm for innovation and ongoing professional development in cybersecurity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining a secret security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.). Experience in rapid prototyping and iteration in a collaborative research environment. Proven ability to work with technology vendors and academic researchers, leading interdisciplinary research teams. Capability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. Pay Range:
$131,300.00 - $237,350.00 The Leidos pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation.
