We are searching for an accomplished Lead Frontend Software Engineer to spearhead the design and development of innovative web applications. The ideal applicant will be passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences and will have extensive expertise in modern frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with diverse teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions. Key Responsibilities: Create high-quality, responsive user interfaces utilizing TypeScript, React, Material UI, and other related tools. Develop modular and reusable components with an emphasis on scalability and maintainability. Collaborate closely with Product Managers and UX/UI designers to translate concepts, wireframes, and mockups into engaging, user-friendly applications. Enhance and expand our rapidly growing online services and data pipelines. Optimize the frontend performance for various devices and browsers, prioritizing quick load times and responsiveness. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience. Proficient in modern frontend development using React, TypeScript, and CSS. Experience with state management libraries, such as Redux or Context API. Knowledge of Material-UI (MUI), Node.js, and React query is advantageous. Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. Familiarity with testing frameworks like React Testing Library and Playwright. Strong database skills (Postgres, MySQL, etc.). Deep understanding of UI/UX principles to deliver intuitive and accessible user experiences. Experience leading and managing projects from inception to completion. Able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. Salary and Benefits: The full-time salary range for this role is approximately $180,000 + equity + benefits. Please note that base pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We adhere to the full salary compensation disclosure requirements as per N.Y.C. Admin.
