The Security Administrator will report to and support the Information Security Team Lead to provide the highest quality customer service to our business teams and customers. The Security Administrator will manage and sustain security solutions and documentation, including the ongoing maintenance and tickets related to our security solutions, following required security guidelines and best practices across the enterprise computing environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Administer security processes and validate audit controls in an advanced technology environment.
Support the programs and strategy developed by Security Leadership in accordance with the security roadmap and principles.
Participate in security programs, projects, and initiatives development, administration, and maintenance phases.
Support Risk Assessments, Penetration Tests, Security Awareness Program, Due Diligence, Vendor Assessments, and Audits.
Research security trends, compliance and regulatory updates, and security frameworks supporting a robust security program.
Directly support a range of security disciplines and domains, including security awareness, compliance, regulatory, third-party security, risk, and others.
Perform other essential duties as assigned.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Must have:
1-3 years of experience in Information Security and Administration roles of increasing responsibility, resulting in strong familiarity with security concepts and disciplines
Extensive experience with standard security tools and platforms, including next generation firewalls, web application firewalls, VPN solutions, security information and event management, endpoint security, vulnerability management, container security, data loss prevention, email filtering, and others
Strong ability to understand security concepts and effectively communicate with an Information Security team, IT Operations team, and Application Development team, including all domains of information security
Excellent written communication skills, along with outstanding analytic, problem solving and decision making skills
Proven project management and organizational skills, including managing multiple concurrent tasks, particularly within the boundaries of compliance and regulatory program requirements
A+ Certification or equivilent work experience
Nice to have:
Four year degree in a relevant field preferred or an equivalent amount of post-secondary education and experience
CSSLP, CHFI, CCSP, GCIH, GCIA, Security+, Network+ or other pertinent industry-recognized certifications
Experience administering Security infrastructure, tools, processes, and solutions, including cloud-based
Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry
