Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist - Grand Island: Top Hospital, New ORs, & Excellent Work-Life Balance. New Grads & Visa Candidates Welcome!

Join a collegial and well-established Anesthesia team of 5 MDAs and 11 CRNAs. Our low turnover reflects a strong, family-friendly environment where mentorship and mutual support are paramount.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • New, integral position as we expand our services to meet community demand
  • The Anesthesia team provides anesthesia services at both CHI Health St. Francis & Grand Island Ambulatory Surgery Center
  • Diverse case mix: General, Orthopedic, OBGYN, Urology, ENT, Neuroscience
  • Practice in new Operating Rooms (opened 2021), featuring advanced technology including a new DaVinci Xi robot.
  • Robust hospital support with strong Hospitalist and Intensivist programs along with multiple subspecialty physicians.
  • Academic affiliation with Creighton University School of Medicine
  • Time off: 9 week + 6 holidays
  • Call Requirement: 1 in 6
  • Compensation Range: $484,410 - $514,410 / Year

CHI Health St. Francis is a 150-bed, Level III Trauma Center and regional referral hub serving Central Nebraska. Our hospital offers a 16-bed open ICU with after-hours eICU support, a well-established hospitalist and intensivist program, and a wide range of engaged subspecialists—creating an excellent environment for collaborative, high-quality perioperative care.
