Our client is seeking a strategic leader to lead end to end technology transfer activities from development into GMP manufacturing.

Your objectives:

• Deliver successful technology transfer of new products into manufacturing, ensuring safe, compliant, and right first time GMP production.
• Build and lead a high performing technology transfer function capable of supporting clinical and commercial manufacturing programmes.
• Establish robust processes, governance, and project execution frameworks that enable efficient scale up and manufacturing readiness.

What you will do:

• Lead the technology transfer function supporting small molecule Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, intermediates and peptide products.
• Act as the technical interface between customers, process development, manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.
• Oversee end to end transfer of processes from development or external partners into GMP manufacturing facilities.
• Provide technical leadership on scale up strategies, process optimisation, and manufacturing readiness.
• Guide the transfer and validation of analytical methods in collaboration with Quality Control laboratories.
• Ensure robust documentation including technology transfer packages, risk assessments, and Master Batch Records.
• Develop and mentor a team of process chemists and engineers while strengthening cross functional collaboration.

What you will bring:

• 10+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, which must include experience within a contract manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record leading technology transfer or manufacturing science and technology teams within pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing.
• Must bring deep technical expertise in small molecule API technology transfer.
• Experience leading complex cross functional projects in regulated GMP environments.
• Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills within global pharmaceutical partnerships.
• Degree level education in Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Additional postgraduate or technical qualifications are desirable.
