Gempool is partnering with a leading organisation delivering digital solutions within regulated healthcare and clinical trial environments. We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a mandatory background in healthcare or clinical trials to join their fully remote team in Ireland.

As Product Owner, you will collaborate with stakeholders across operations, data management, and IT to deliver compliant, high-quality digital platforms supporting healthcare or clinical research processes. You will own and prioritise the product backlog, refine requirements, and guide Agile teams to ensure solutions meet both business and regulatory standards.

• Own and prioritise the product backlog for healthcare/clinical digital solutions
  
• Define and refine user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
  
• Work closely with Agile development teams to deliver features on time and to a high standard
  
• Ensure compliance with healthcare and clinical regulatory requirements
  
• Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement
  
• Manage cross-team dependencies and act as product subject matter expert
  

• 
  
• 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner
  
• 5+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer or Tester within healthcare or clinical trials
  
• Strong experience delivering digital solutions in regulated xcfaprz environments
  
• Hands‑on experience with clinical trial or healthcare systems (e.g., EDC, CTMS, eClinical platforms)
  
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience managing backlogs and sprint cycles
  
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Agile certification (CSPO, PSPO or equivalent)
  
• Knowledge of clinical data workflows, CDISC, or regulatory frameworks
  
• Experience working with CROs, pharmaceutical companies, or healthcare SaaS platforms
