We are looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Kansas City, Missouri! In this critical **logistics** role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to all **safety** standards. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and training. Key duties include supervising the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, optimizing workflow, and implementing best practices. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), and a proven ability to drive results. You must champion a culture of **safety**, ensuring all team members understand and utilize **PPE** correctly. This role involves managing a physically demanding environment, including oversight of **Lifting** and material handling. Your leadership is essential to the success of our **logistics** operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient and **safe** receipt, **storage**, and dispatch of goods.
- Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Implement and enforce all **safety** policies and **PPE** requirements.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Manage inventory accuracy and conduct regular audits.
- Train new employees on operational procedures and **safety** protocols.
- Collaborate with **logistics** and management teams on operational planning.
- Oversee **Lifting** and material handling operations to prevent injuries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **safe** work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of **logistics**, warehouse operations, and WMS.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Understanding of **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** and tasks requiring physical exertion.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus.
