is seeking a Information Security Analyst to support the MCCOG/MCEN mission per SOW requirements, delivering technical, operational, and engineering functions aligned with enterprise network defense and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develops and evaluates an organization's security system and networks. Conducts account responsibilities which include; system testing, password management, network/web application scanning, and threat detection (vulnerability, viruses, and intrusion). Utilizes security tools to enhance system authentication, breach protocols, and firewall/encryption audits. Translates and designs security requirements. Prepares status reports to develop security risk analysis scenarios. #qf

Requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Secret clearance 5+ years of DoD experience in cybersecurity or information assurance. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or Engineering. Ability to work onsite Experience with ACAS/Nessus, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), and eMASS. Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management. Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs periodically. Ability to commute to the required work location daily.
Preferred certifications
DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP, CND, or CySA+)
