About DTMB:
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (https://youtu.be/H_IrVnVjcoA) supports the business operations of the state agencies through a variety of services including Information Technology project delivery, maintenance and support. This position is with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Protection, Michigan Security Operations Center (MiSOC).
We are looking for a person who understands the value of public service and wants to help us meet the needs of our citizens. Above all, we are looking for someone that is passionate about IT application development. This person needs to be an excellent communicator, meaning you can effectively make oral and written reports, presentations and prepare clear and concise documentation. You need to be capable of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and matrix support teams. We need someone who can resolve complex problems in a timely manner and seeks optimum solutions.
About the position:
The Security Analyst position works as a member of the Incident Response Team. The Security Analyst position
remediates cyber incidents and vulnerabilities while maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of State of
Michigan data.

Michigan State Police
Candidates selected for this position must complete the Michigan State Police background check. This extensive background check requires fingerprinting for state and federal criminal background records. The background check search will include, but is not limited to, arrests, criminal charges, criminal convictions, and any information regarding contact with a criminal justice agency.
SIGNING BONUS :
This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.
