Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using Azure, Databricks, and Spark. Architect and optimize data engineering processes using tools such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow, SQL, and Python. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and implement data security best practices. Develop and maintain data warehouse and data marts through end-to-end implementation. Collaborate with teams to design and implement complex solutions for distributed systems. Required Qualifications
Minimum of 11 years of experience in Information Technology. Hands-on experience in architecting solutions on Azure, Databricks, and Spark. Proficiency in data engineering tools like Spark, Kafka, Airflow, SQL, and Python. Strong understanding of retail or CPG data domains. Familiarity with vector search and semantic retrieval for retail use cases. Expertise in data privacy and compliance in consumer-facing environments. Technical Skills & Experience
Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, Azure Pipelines, and Jenkins. End-to-end implementation experience of data warehouse and data marts. Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts like Data Vault, Dimensional modeling, and OLAP design. Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Modeling of Unstructured Data. Familiarity with log and monitoring solutions. Understanding of Agile software development frameworks. Strong communication and analytical skills. Ability to work in diverse, multi-stakeholder environments. Experience with Generative AI frameworks like OpenAI and Hugging Face.
