Job Description: Responsibilities:
Develop proposals and project estimates and conduct project quality reviews Perform issue and risk management activities Use tools to forecast, plan, estimate, and track project delivery and budget Provide oversight for performance, cost, scope, schedule, and quality to technical leadership Lead the project to produce agreed-upon solution deliverables within applicable timeframes Execute a wide range of process activities beginning with requirements definition through development, testing, and final delivery Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path Develop clear documentation to identify processes, problems, and action plans Create charts, diagrams, and illustrative materials to communicate complex topics Facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments, and levels Manage relationships between Customer, IT Environment Providers, and Service Provider Personnel Coordinate and provide timely status reporting on program stability and compliance with customer technical standards and PMO processes Determine and communicate team assignments Direct and monitor project work efforts Provide status reports to leadership on potential impacts to scope, budget, risk, and resources
Experience:
7+ years experience in a role with: Experience with
project management and leadership across IT and business functions Experience managing
large complex projects
consisting of internal/external and labor/non-labor cost components Extensive knowledge of
project management best practices , including
Waterfall, Agile, and SDLC methodologies Excellent
leadership skills
with proven ability to
coach, develop, and lead teams Ability to work with
diverse project teams across IT and business Proven ability to
engage and develop relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders Experience with
project cost management and resource capacity planning Strong
Business Process Analysis and Mapping skills Experience implementing
change management approaches
to support projects Experience in
indirect management of team members , including:
Development Training Assignment of work/projects
Preferred Qualification:
Project Management Certification (PMP) Agile certifications such as:
PSM (Professional Scrum Master) PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner)
- plus
ITIL v3 or v4
- plus Familiarity with the Energy Industry
