Position Overview
The Diagnostic Imaging Service at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center (Bay Pines VA Healthcare System) is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join our dedicated team. This role provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a physician-led VA system with strong academic ties to the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine. Contribute to Veteran care excellence and resident education in a supportive, state-of-the-art setting.

Clinical Duties/Responsibilities

• Interpret routine and advanced diagnostic imaging: X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound

• Generate timely, accurate reports and communicate findings to referring clinicians

• Perform fluoroscopic examinations and CT-guided procedures as indicated

• Oversee contrast media administration per protocols

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive Veteran care

• Participate in resident teaching, mentorship, and academic conferences (USF radiology residency affiliation)

Qualifications/Requirements :

• MD or DO from an accredited institution

• Board certification/eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR)

• Current, unrestricted medical license

• U.S. citizenship or eligible non-citizen

• Proficiency in general diagnostic radiology; procedural skills preferred

• Strong communication, teamwork, and commitment to VA values
