Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join an established organisation to support a range of strategic initiatives, including continuous improvement and large-scale business transformation programs.

In this role, you will design and deliver solution architectures that enable seamless connectivity between core enterprise systems, CRM platforms, and integration technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create solution designs for secure, scalable, and reliable architectures, presenting these designs to the relevant architecture governance body.
• Analyse end-to-end business and technical requirements and determine appropriate enterprise system designs and change requirements in line with security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Work hands-on with cross-functional teams, supporting project delivery and ensuring alignment with target enterprise and integration architectures.
• Define application architectures and design patterns, ensuring consistency with enterprise standards and promoting reusability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the IT strategy, including defining future target states for technology architecture and operating models.
• Support the evaluation and selection of software and hardware solutions, including defining standards and custom configuration approaches.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive these initiatives through to delivery.
• Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team, ensuring improvements and architectural decisions are documented and communicated.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, IASA Core Certification, or equivalent).
• Relevant technical certifications such as Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Azure are desirable.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in IT, including 3+ years in a Solutions Architect role.
• Strong experience designing solutions in on-premise environments integrated with SaaS platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft 365.
• Experience working with multiple integration patterns, including API-based and event-driven integration.
• Proven experience with architecture governance, architectural patterns, IT standards, and IT controls, including IT risk management.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• Experience using architecture modelling tools, ideally with ArchiMate.
• Experience engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. xcfaprz
• Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services or insurance) is advantageous.
