Description
The Engineering Graphics & Design Technician will collaborate closely with civil engineering teams to create detailed construction drawings and design documents for transportation and infrastructure projects. This position is a great fit for individuals looking to build a strong technical foundation in roadway/highway design, utility layouts, grading, and related project visuals.:
Prepare and edit engineering drawings, exhibits, and plans using CAD and design software Support civil engineers with visual design components for roadways, stormwater systems, utilities, and erosion control Assist with developing cost estimates, project documentation, and submittals for agency review Organize and maintain drawing files, templates, and project standards Job Requirements
0-3+ years of experience in engineering graphics or drafting Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred. Associate in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field required. Prior experience with AutoCAD required. Experience with Bentley MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer preferred. Familiarity with Civil/Site or Transportation Infrastructure projects preferred Valid Driver's License Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
