Are you a skilled Mobile Engineer ready to leverage your technical expertise in HVAC/R, electrical, and plumbing systems? We have the perfect opportunity for you! Position Overview:
Join our team in Champaign, IL, and enter a rewarding career once converted to the Union-with a starting pay of $48/hour. Dive into a role where you will operate, maintain, inspect, and repair all HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems in our state-of-the-art facilities.
What you'll be doing daily: Perform preventive and repair work orders for facility mechanical, electrical, and other systems. Maintain and operate HVAC/R systems and related equipment, electrical distribution, plumbing systems, and building repairs. Get familiar and study various equipment, ensuring proficient everyday use. Conduct facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions impacting client occupancy and operations. Submit P-card receipts daily and update work order status in real-time. Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all assigned tasks. Possess a valid state driver's license and be available for call-in work. Required Qualifications:
Universal CFC recovery certification (or achieved within 90 days of employment). Minimum of four years of technical experience, with a solid background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment maintenance. Experience troubleshooting commercial refrigeration systems. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CMMS (Work Order) systems. Familiarity with computer applications like Word and Excel. Completion of two years of trade school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC.
