What We Desire from You: At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
Proven expertise in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services, with a deep understanding of service-oriented architecture.
Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.
A passion for creating an open financial system that connects people around the world.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience navigating rapid growth within a company, from startup to mid-size.
Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing methodologies.
Background in blockchain technologies (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
Experience breaking down a large monolithic system into microservices.
Proficiency in Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
Experience building reliable financial or security systems.
Knowledge of crypto activities, such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain services.

Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this role can range from $186,065 to $218,900 USD. Coinbase also offers bonus eligibility, equity options, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
