Key Responsibilities
Work with the Hummel Pro leadership team & Business Analyst to prioritize the IT project list; participating in regular meetings to ensure alignment on priorities & provide status updates Manage system enhancement & implementation projects, including requirements analysis, solution design & testing, and user training & support Develop & maintain integrations for systems that integrate into our Business Central ERP such as WMS & B2B platforms, as well as integrated pay & payment collection solutions Identify reporting needs with business stakeholders & determine the best methods to provide data to our users; using tools within BC, as well as outside tools like Excel & PowerBI Maintain relationships with software & support vendors, working with them on support cases, implementing new features, and proper use of products Maintain system documentation, including change logs, common fixes to incidents, etc Follow all company safety, quality and housekeeping policies, procedures, and practices Other duties as assigned Experience & Qualifications
5+ years of NAV, Dynamics & Business Central application development & programming experience Demonstrated experience with report writing, both witin Business Central, as well as utlizing tools such as Excel & Power BI Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes in a distribution business, including sales order entry & supply chain/fulfillment processes Experience with Business Central extensions such as Tasklet WMS, Avalara Tax, iSolutions payments, EV Data Flow and common B2B platforms a plus What Success Looks Like in This Role
Ability to interface well with users to understand their pain points & develop creative, custom solutions to automate their work, reduce errors & improve service quality to our customers Clear understanding of IT project priorities, consistently meeting assigned due dates, and escalating issues & risks to company leadership when they arise
