*What You’ll Do as a Dental Hygienist:*
As a Dental Hygienist at Alpenglow Dental, you’ll be essential to helping our patients achieve optimal oral health. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing comprehensive dental hygiene, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance.
* Educating patients on oral hygiene techniques and personalized home care instructions.
* Taking digital radiographs and updating patient records using Eaglesoft dental software.
* Collaborating with the dentist to identify and discuss treatment needs.
* Ensuring patient comfort and creating a warm, welcoming environment.
* Sterilizing instruments and adhering to infection control protocols.
* Contributing to our positive office culture by working closely with the team.
*What We’re Looking For:*
* *Active Oregon Dental Hygiene License* (required).
* Strong clinical skills with a gentle touch and patient-centered approach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Reliable work ethic with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
* Passion for ongoing learning and commitment to high-quality patient care.
* Experience with *Eaglesoft* software is a plus (but not required—we’ll train the right person!).
