The Onramp and Offramp services act as the vital connection between fiat and onchain economies. Coinbase Onramp is designed to simplify the process of moving money onchain, which is essential for welcoming new users to crypto and furthering our mission to create an inclusive financial system. As part of our innovative team, you will help create robust solutions that facilitate the seamless movement of funds on and offchain. Your contributions will significantly enhance our product offering, catering to major crypto applications such as Coinbase Wallet, Metamask, Phantom, Block (Bitkey), and Ledger. What we seek in you: You bring at least 5 years of software engineering experience.
A proactive self-starter mentality, ready to enhance customer experience through decisive action.
Strong expertise in full-stack development, capable of creating reliable backend services and efficient, user-friendly front-end interfaces that handle real-world scenarios.
A solid grasp of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven design; you understand how to integrate seamlessly with both internal and third-party services.
You produce high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.
Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with designers and product managers.
A passion for developer tools and a clear vision of what constitutes excellence in developer platforms.
A genuine interest in onchain/Web3, with a solid understanding of blockchain technologies, especially Ethereum and other EVM-compatible chains.
Nice to have: Experience navigating rapid company growth from startup to mid-sized.
Familiarity with building on blockchain technology (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
Experience in transitioning a large monolithic architecture into microservices.
A background in creating financial systems with high reliability or security standards.

The target annual base salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD. Full-time offers include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
