Your Role and Responsibilities As an SAP Solutions Architect and consultant, you will be a key client-facing professional responsible for selling, leading, managing, and implementing innovative offerings that enhance finance and billing business processes alongside SAP systems. Collaborate with clients to deliver business outcomes and innovative solutions for complex challenges. Your tasks will include working on projects that integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to boost effectiveness, lower costs, and increase profit and shareholder value. Engage in business development activities and contribute to proposal preparations. You will have opportunities to acquire new skills, cross various disciplines, tackle fresh challenges, and gain comprehensive industry knowledge. Your primary responsibilities will include: Strategic SAP Solution Leadership:
Design, develop, and implement SAP solutions and business processes comprehensively, ensuring simplicity, scalability, and maintainability tailored to client needs. Team Delivery Leadership:
Manage high-performing teams of SAP consultants to ensure timely, quality product delivery within budget. Comprehensive Solution Delivery:
Participate in strategic development and solution implementation, leveraging expertise in customer processes and SAP, while utilizing the latest technologies and industry best practices. This position allows for work from any location in the United States. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Enjoy hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA ISU-FICA across multiple commodities (e.g., electric, gas, water, wastewater), with ample knowledge of other ISU processes (Customer Experience, Device/Work Management, Billing) and a minimum of 5 end-to-end implementations (minimum four in the Energy and Utilities sector) as either a Management Consultant or Solution Architect. Design customer contract financial/accounting and collection processes. Deep understanding of technical and business master data and the integration points that enable the IS-U data model. Advanced experience in batch job processing chains and exception management processes. Possess expert-level process knowledge of customer service and FICA business workflows, with the capability to integrate these processes with SAP and other applications for end-to-end solutions. Demonstrate leadership in project management, which includes development of project plans, resource management, and ensuring delivery within defined timelines and quality metrics. Have foundational industry knowledge in Energy and Utilities. Familiarity with AI models, their SAP application, and cybersecurity principles is essential. Fluency in English is required. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Experience with other Business Processes and SAP Modules, such as SAP Industry for Utilities (ISU), SAP Analytics Cloud, and client customer portal integration is advantageous. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like IBM Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP is preferred. Experience with Agile methodologies including project management strategies is a plus.
