As part of our Worldwide Safety & Auditing (WSA) team, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that shape our business strategies. In this dynamic position, you'll lead our Analytics and Reporting Team, acting as the key communicator between Safety technical data and executive decision-making. You will guide your team in applying statistical methods, performing exploratory analysis, identifying trends and anomalies, and developing predictive models. Your expertise will help manage and analyze data utilizing advanced technologies and data architecture, allowing you to generate impactful reports including Executive dashboards, Safety and Health Readiness dashboards, and various reports aimed at improving Safety and fostering continuous improvement within our organization. Your Responsibilities Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor data analysts, set project deadlines, and oversee progress while offering technical guidance. Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with WSA leadership to define metrics and prioritize high-impact analytics projects that align with business goals. Data Quality:
Establish SOPs for data collection and analysis, ensure accuracy and compliance, and optimize data infrastructure. Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex insights into actionable recommendations. Technical Oversight:
Manage the selection of analytics tools, design databases, and stay abreast of industry trends in AI and machine learning. Your Qualifications Analytics and Reporting:
Demonstrated ability to identify KPIs, analyze datasets, and produce insightful dashboards for stakeholders. Statistical Acumen:
Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques. Data Engineering:
Experience with modern data platforms like Snowflake, advanced SQL, and building ELT pipelines. Technical Skills:
Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and cloud platforms like AWS. Preferred Experience Background in technology roles with increasing responsibility. Experience with AI, machine learning, and natural language processing. Proficiency in orchestration tools like Airflow and development tools like JavaScript. Education Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience; advanced degrees are a plus. 5-8 years in analytics or data science, with 2-3 years in a leadership capacity.
