Position Overview We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. This role will drive automation, CI/CD optimization, infrastructure as code (IaC), and operational excellence across cloud environments. This role is hybrid with a requirement of working on site in the Portsmouth NH office 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing, deployment, and release management. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog). Optimize cloud architecture for cost, performance, reliability, and security. Manage containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment velocity and system resilience.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles. Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC). Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred). Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.). Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar). Solid understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems principles.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer). Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Familiarity with security frameworks.
