Our client, a leading provider of software and data solutions, is seeking a Mathematics and Testing Analyst to join their innovative team in Bangor. Key Responsibilities
Mathematical Analysis & Testing:
* Develop and write programs to perform mathematical analysis of game features
* Execute scripts to convert large datasets into standardized testing formats
* Conduct statistical tests on game simulations and Random Number Generator (RNG) data
* Ensure compliance by interpreting jurisdictional requirements
Program Enhancement & Documentation:
* Modify and improve existing programs and analyses for testing purposes
* Review and document source code across various programming languages
* Prepare detailed project reports on testing results and processes
* Maintain accuracy and quality assurance standards in all work
Collaboration & Communication:
* Professionally liaise with external clients on technical matters
* Work effectively with internal teams and other departments to deliver project objectives
The Ideal Candidate
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
* Associate degree or 2+ years of relevant experience may be considered
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong foundation in Probability, Statistics, and Combinatorics
Proficiency in C++ or other object-oriented programming languages
Understanding of object-oriented design principles
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
