Overview A leading organisation within Irelands financial services regulatory sector is undertaking a high-profile, multi-year ERP Transformation Programme to modernise and reshape its Finance, HR and wider Operations functions.
The programme has formally commenced and governance structures have now been stabilised and strengthened following initial challenges.
The transformation includes migration of Finance and HR systems to modern ERP platforms (including Oracle and Microsoft technologies, with SAP S/4HANA moving to Public Cloud and SuccessFactors for HR).
An experienced and high-impact Change Manager ERP Transformation is required to lead and coordinate all Change Management and Communications activities across the programme.
This is a senior-facing, highly visible role working closely with Executive and Senior Management stakeholders.
ERP experience within Financial Services is mandatory for this position.
Role Purpose The Change Manager will manage, coordinate, monitor and report on all Change Management and Communications activities across the ERP Transformation Programme.
The successful candidate will: Enhance and build upon the organisations existing change frameworks using their own proven methodology and practical experience Embed structured, people-centred change practices to maximise adoption and minimise resistance Position the programme effectively at Senior Management and enterprise level Deliver sustainable transformation outcomes across technology, process, operating model and cultural dimensions This role requires a strong, credible communicator and heavy hitter in organisational change, capable of influencing at senior levels within a complex and highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive Change Management Strategy aligned to ERP programme objectives Enhance and mature existing change frameworks using best-practice methodologies and personal expertise Design, implement and deliver an effective enterprise-wide Communications Plan Engage directly with Senior Management and key decision-makers in a high-profile capacity Identify, cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholder groups across Finance, HR, Operations and wider business functions Drive cultural change and adoption of new ways of working Provide structured monitoring, reporting and governance of change and communications activities Develop and articulate business cases and investment rationales relating to change initiatives Mobilise cross-functional support and influence senior stakeholders in a complex, matrixed and regulated environment Coordinate and monitor delivery of complex change spanning ERP technology, processes, operating models and people impacts Support development and implementation of new operating frameworks and associated organisational design changes Shape requirements for additional consultancy or transformation partner support where required Operate effectively within a Public Procurement and regulatory governance framework Programme Context Multi-year ERP transformation Finance and HR system modernisation SAP S/4HANA transitioning to Public Cloud SuccessFactors for HR Oracle and Microsoft platforms also in scope Governance framework now established and stabilised Strong executive visibility and regulatory scrutiny Experience & Qualifications Minimum 7+ years experience in organisational or business change management Proven track record delivering large-scale ERP transformation programmes (mandatory) Financial Services sector experience (mandatory) Experience leading xcfaprz change across technology, behaviours, structures, operating models and processes Demonstrated experience working on major, enterprise-wide transformation programmes Strong experience influencing and partnering with Senior Management and executive stakeholders Degree in IT, Organisational Change, Communications or related discipline Recognised Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent) desirable Recognised Change Management qualification (Prosci, APMG or equivalent) desirable Significant relevant practical experience may be considered in lieu of formal change certification Experience working with Government Agencies, State Authorities or regulated bodies highly advantageous Highly proficient in MS Office Suite including MS Project, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint Key Competencies Exceptional communication and presentation skills Strong stakeholder engagement and executive influencing capability Credible, confident and capable of operating in a high-profile environment Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organisations Trusted advisor and collaborative partner to senior leaders Proactive, delivery-focused and resilient Strong leadership and team-building capability Passionate advocate for people-centred transformation Skills: ERP Transformation Change Manager Change Management Benefits: Work From Home
