The General Catering Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and delivery of a high‑volume catering operation, ensuring excellent food quality, customer service, financial performance, and compliance across all catering services on a large site.

- Lead daily catering operations across multiple outlets (Staff Restaurants, Barista Bars, Kitchenettes, and bespoke hospitality events).
- Manage, train, and support a large team including supervisors, chefs, and service staff.
- Deliver strong financial performance by managing budgets, labour costs, stock, and profitability.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer experience.
- Maintain full compliance with food safety, hygiene, allergen controls, and health & safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and customers.
- Drive continuous improvement, menu innovation, sustainability initiatives, and service efficiency.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
- Financial and commercial acumen.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety standards, and compliance requirements. xcfaprz
