What You’ll Do
The CoreWeave CAO organization supports the business with accurate, timely, and scalable accounting operations and reporting. You will be part of the Controllership team and collaborate with specialists in SEC reporting, Technical Accounting, Treasury Accounting, and Corporate Accounting. As the Director, European Controller, you will lead the integrity of our global financial operations outside the United States, focusing on accounting close, statutory reporting, local compliance, and international tax. You will oversee multi-jurisdictional accounting teams and external partners to ensure seamless global operations and a robust control environment to support international expansion.

About The Role
- Statutory & Local Reporting: Lead preparation, review, and timely filing of foreign statutory financial statements across international subsidiaries. Manage reconciliation from US GAAP to local statutory standards (IFRS or local GAAP).
- Global Tax Compliance: Partner with Tax to ensure compliance with international direct and indirect taxes (VAT, GST, CIT).
- Internal Controls & Governance: Establish and maintain a SOX-aligned internal control environment across international entities. Lead remediation for control gaps and ensure consistent global accounting policy application.
- Multi-Jurisdictional Operations: Manage global shared services or regional accounting teams, ensuring high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Audit Management: Act as primary point of contact for external and internal auditors for international statutory audits, driving timely and accurate audit conclusions.
- Strategic Integration: Support M&A by leading financial integration of new international entities, including entity creation, local registrations, and system implementations.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a CPA/CA or equivalent preferred
- 12+ years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years leading international operations
- Technical expertise in US GAAP to IFRS conversion and related accounting areas
- Strong understanding of international tax regimes and statutory audit requirements in diverse jurisdictions
- Proficiency in understanding global expansion requirements
- Proven track record managing remote, cross-functional, and culturally diverse teams
- Proficient in using an ERP with secondary or non-leading ledgers
Preferred
- Experience in cloud or technology industry with significant capital expenditures

The base salary range for this role is £111,000 to £148,000. Starting salary is determined by knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Our total rewards include a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (eligibility applies).
