Automation Sales Engineer | Industrial Automation | Dublin (travel across Ireland)

An established Irish industrial group is investing heavily in its automation division and is hiring an experienced Automation Sales Engineer to drive growth across Ireland.

This is not a catalogue sales role. You will sell automation hardware (robotics, end effectors, motion control, automation components) while identifying and developing larger custom automation project opportunities through an in-house design and build facility.

The opportunity suits someone already embedded in the Irish automation market who wants broader project exposure and more autonomy.

• 
  
• Manage and grow an established automation customer base
  
• Sell robotics and automation hardware to machine builders and end users
  
• Identify and develop custom automation projects
  
• Work closely with internal engineering/design teams
  
• Operate independently across the island of Ireland
  

• 
  
• 3+ years’ experience in industrial automation sales or system integration
  
• Currently operating in the Irish automation market
  
• Established relationships with manufacturers, machine builders or integrators
  
• Technically credible – able to discuss robotics, PLCs, automation systems confidently
  
• Proven commercial track record in solutions or technical sales
  
• Self-sufficient territory manager
  

• 
  
• Experience in pharma, biopharma or food manufacturing
  
• Exposure to larger capital projects
  
• Engineering or technical background
