We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Orlando, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the right products are picked, packed, and prepared for shipment, contributing directly to our logistics operations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so the ability to work quickly and accurately is essential. Key responsibilities include reading pick lists or using RF scanners to locate items, carefully picking items from designated locations, and ensuring the correct quantity is selected. You will also be responsible for inspecting picked items for damage and reporting any discrepancies. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is crucial for efficient operations. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and Lifting up to 50 pounds consistently. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus. Training will be provided to ensure you are successful in this critical logistics role. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Inspect items for damage before placing them in the designated area.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
- Participate in regular inventory counts.
- Meet daily picking quotas and performance standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
