Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials for damage and accuracy.
- Accurately record inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
- Organize warehouse space to optimize efficiency and accessibility.
- Assist with picking and packing orders as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and equipment.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse projects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Material Handler in a logistics or warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 60 pounds.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Excellent manual dexterity and coordination.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Must be willing to wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
