Join our dedicated logistics team in Denver, Colorado as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic individuals to contribute to the efficient flow of goods through our distribution center. Your role as a Picker/Packer is vital to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and packing various items for shipment. This dynamic position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to workflow. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a warehouse environment, possess good organizational skills, and be committed to upholding high standards of safety and productivity. We emphasize teamwork and a positive work environment. You will be required to utilize proper PPE to ensure your safety while performing tasks that involve frequent lifting and movement. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, and we offer opportunities for learning and growth within the company. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order slips or electronic pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks (if applicable and trained).
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet order fulfillment goals.
- Follow all company guidelines for safety, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Willingness to adhere to safety procedures and wear required PPE.
