Job Summary:
Our dynamic Distribution Center in Kansas City, Missouri is looking for a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our Logistics team. This role encompasses a variety of essential warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. You will contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of our operations, ensuring that products move seamlessly through our facility. We require individuals who are energetic, reliable, and possess a strong commitment to Safety. This position involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting of products. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are crucial. We provide a safe and supportive work setting, comprehensive training, and all necessary PPE. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and checks.
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Inspect products for damage and report any issues.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in Logistics.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center role is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of Logistics principles.
