We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator for our facility in Huntsville, Alabama. This key role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse strategies and processes to improve operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe material handling.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and orderly environment.
- Train and mentor warehouse team members on best practices.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting.
- Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement in logistics and operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
