This position plays a critical role in our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of all products within our facility. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a variety of essential tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You will be working in a busy and dynamic warehouse environment where attention to detail and speed are important. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected from every team member. This role requires physical fitness, the ability to handle significant lifting, and a strong commitment to accuracy. While prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is advantageous, we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for enthusiastic and reliable individuals. Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Sort, label, and store inventory in the correct warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently to ensure product safety during transit.
- Stage packed orders for outgoing shipment and assist with loading.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to company standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear designated PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking activities.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Good organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
