Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to join our Milwaukee, Wisconsin team. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring all inventory movements are accurately recorded in our system. Your work directly impacts our logistics operations and overall efficiency. We prioritize a safe work environment and require strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves standing, walking, and occasional lifting. If you possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in inventory management or a related logistics field, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify stock replenishment needs.
  • Process inventory adjustments and transfers.
  • Identify and report on obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with WMS and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to handle tasks involving lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
