The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management software and a solid understanding of warehouse procedures. You will be responsible for tracking inventory movement, identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels. Your contributions will directly impact our supply chain's effectiveness and customer satisfaction. We prioritize safety and expect all team members to adhere to strict safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points.
- Identify and report on obsolete or slow-moving stock.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with the implementation of inventory control strategies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency in WMS software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse operations.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
