We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, unloading, stocking, and staging materials. You will operate various equipment, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (certification provided if necessary), to transport inventory. A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure accurate inventory counts and proper placement of materials. You will collaborate closely with other warehouse staff to maintain an organized and safe working environment. Adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and products.
- Stock and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including staging and labeling.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving heavy Lifting as required by the role.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
