We are looking for hardworking and reliable Warehouse Workers to join our logistics team in Detroit, Michigan. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring all goods are handled efficiently and safely. You will be involved in various tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately using scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor and work areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Awareness of safety procedures and willingness to use PPE.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be dependable and have a positive attitude.
