We have an immediate opening for an Order Picker in our Cincinnati, Ohio distribution center. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is critical to our logistics operations and requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure that orders are processed correctly and shipped on time.
Responsibilities:
- Read pick lists or use RF scanning equipment to locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and accessible.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment safely.
- Report any damaged products or inventory discrepancies to a supervisor immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets for order picking.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stock rotation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability and punctuality are a must.
