Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Move materials from receiving areas to storage locations using appropriate equipment.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately according to shipping schedules.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Inspect equipment for proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, on a regular basis.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and utilizing provided PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
