We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee daily operations at our San Jose, California facility. This critical role ensures the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse, from receiving to dispatch. You will be responsible for coordinating staff, managing inventory, optimizing space, and ensuring efficiency throughout the logistics process. A strong understanding of warehouse management, safety protocols, and team leadership is essential. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to maintain accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to procedures.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all warehouse movements and transactions.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Liaise with other departments and external logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in WMS and other relevant software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to fostering a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
