Join our team as a Shipping Clerk in San Antonio, Texas, and play a key role in ensuring our products reach our customers efficiently and accurately. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. This role is integral to our logistics process, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure orders are processed and dispatched correctly. We are looking for a reliable individual who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper securing.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Communicate with internal teams and external customers regarding shipment status.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Assist in the receiving process as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in shipping software and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety practices.
